What is Daily Harvest?
Daily Harvest creates delicious and nourishing smoothies, soups, oats, lattes and more and deliveries them right to your door is a well-insulated box with dry ice. Their food organic and made from thoughtfully sourced fruits and vegetables.
The cups are stores in the freeze and when you’re ready to enjoy some Daily Harvest, just take it out – pair it with water, nut milk, broth or some organic olive oil and amazingly within 3-5 minutes, your meal is ready.
Why we love Daily Harvest:
Anything that costs a premium, in my opinion, needs to have good reasons before we spend the money. When it comes to Daily Harvest, it’s a no-brainer for us. My husband and I eat clean 95% of the time and as you know, we’re all about eating healthy and delicious around here. Here’s why we love Daily Harvest:
- DELICIOUS | We think your food should be clean and “cuisine” – meaning, taste delicious. Almost all of the Daily Harvest cups we’ve tried meet both of these. Stick around, we’ll share our favorites down below!
- CONVENIENT | Every box we get, we simply open it up and add the cups to the freezer. When we want a smoothie, we just take it out of the freezer add coconut water or nut milk and toss it in our Vibe blender. For bowls or soups, we just add water or bone broth (we love homemade bone broth from Spoonful of Health found here) and heat.
How much does Daily Harvest cost?
Daily Harvest has weekly plans that include 9, 12 and 24 cups or a monthly plan that delivers 24 cups. The best rate is $6.99/cup based on the 24-cup weekly plan and goes up to $7.75/cup for the 9-cup week plan.
We generally get between 9-12 cups and order a few times a month, as needed. Now that my husband is working from home full time alongside me, we tend to go through them a little faster.

How long does Daily Harvest last?
If you’re anything like us, you don’t have to worry about this – however, most cups have a 3 month use by date on the bottom of each cup. As long as you keep the cups in your freezer, the fruits and vegetables will stay frozen and will last; unlike their fresh counterpart.
What to order from Daily Harvest?
As much as we have enjoyed the soups, I truly don’t think they are worth the cost per cup. So, yes, we absolutely loved the Cauliflower + Leek soup paired with bone broth, but my suggestion is to skip it and get some of the other heartier options.
Our absolute favorite smoothies are: Tart Cherry + Raspberry Smoothie, Mango + Papaya Smoothie and the Cherry + Almond Smoothie. We love the balance of fruits and vegetables and healthy add-ins that make these smoothies taste delicious.
Simply pop the top, add water, coconut water or nut milk, toss in a high speed blender and then add back to your Daily Harvest cup. It has a convenient straw hole in the lid, so add your favorite straw and enjoy.
Hands down, the Daily Harvest bites are our favorite. We literally snatch the cup of bites and take turns devouring them. Each cup comes with 7 bites — which means, we don’t get to evenly share them… and I typically get the last one, because my husband loves me so much. haha. Our favorite flavors are the Coconut + Lemon Bites, Hazelnut + Chocolate Bites and the Cacao Nib + Vanilla Bites.
Oh my goodness. Talk about gourmet, expensive-tasty and oh so fancy. The Coffee + Cardamom Latte is the only latte I have tried so far and it was incredible. We warmed up the latte pod (by the way, there are 3 pods in each cup), added it to 10 ounces of almond milk and tossed in our high speed blender. Poured it into a big mug full of ice and enjoy every last sip. Just the smell of this latte is delicious. You definitely need to try it.
In conclusion, we are super fans of Daily Harvest and would love to know if you’ve ordered and have a favorite. Please share below.
