This is a blunt and honest Daily Harvest review about the most delicious (and nutritious!) subscription service delivered to your home. Over the next several minutes we’re going to tell you how much we love Daily Harvest, our favorite Daily Harvest Menu items and why it’s a great substitute for homemade clean eating recipes.

A few months ago, our dear friends suggested we check out Daily Harvest for healthy and easy meals. When our first box of Daily Harvest arrived it was pure joy. The smoothie cups, harvest bowls and overnight oats arrived in a a box with ice and directions to pop everything in the freezer.
The next day, we began trying out all of the Daily Harvest cups we ordered. Literally, all of them! We couldn’t get enough and this is why sharing our daily harvest review is so important to us.

Daily Harvest is a subscription box service that creates delicious and nourishing smoothies, soups, oats, lattes and more. Is Daily Harvest Worth it?
Anything that costs a premium, in my opinion, needs to have good reasons before we spend the money. When it comes to Daily Harvest, it’s a no-brainer for us. My husband and I eat clean 95% of the time and as you know, we’re all about eating healthy and delicious around here.

How Long Does Daily Harvest Last?
When ordering your box size, it’s important to know how long does Daily Harvest last in your freezer.
If you’re anything like us, you don’t have to worry about this because within 2 weeks, our cups are gone. However, most cups have a 3 month use by date. As long as you keep the cups in your freezer, the fruits and vegetables will stay frozen and will last; unlike their fresh counterpart.

We have loved so many of our Daily harvest cups, but there is one thing I would suggest passing on. The soups are delicious – but I truly don’t think they are worth the cost per cup. So, even though we loved the Cauliflower + Leek soup paired with bone broth, my suggestion is to skip it and get some of the other heartier options.
Daily Harvest Smoothies

You can expect around 200-300 calories in smoothies. They vary a little bit, but the nutrition facts can be found on each product of their website and listed on their individual cups along with the ingredients.

Daily Harvest Bowls
These Daily Harvest Bowls are my NEW favorite Daily Harvest Menu item. Oh my goodness. From this new TexMex Quinoa + Chipotle harvest bowl is always in my box these days.
It’s full of organic goodness, perfect combination of tex mex using zucchini, tomato, mesquite and chipotle goodness.
Some other favorite Daily Harvest Bowls: Red Lentil + Cumin Harvest Bowl (bursting with flavor), Spinach + Shiitake Grits (savory and delicious)and Artichoke + Pesto Harvest Bowl (tangy and cleansing).

How to Prepare Daily Harvest Bowls
It is very easy to learn how to prepare Daily Harvest Bowls. You can choose between popping them in the microwave or cooking on the stovetop. Overall, it takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish.
For stovetop, pour into a pot and cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. For microwave, keep in this bowl—it’s microwave-safe. Heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway in between.
How Long do Daily Harvest Bowls Last?
Daily Harvest bowls last up to 3 months in the fridge typically. I don’t take the Daily Harvest Bowls out of my freezer until I’m ready to make and it them. I would recommend the same for you!
Daily Harvest Flatbread Review
If I could eat a Daily Harvest flatbread every day for lunch, I would. Yup, that’s my whole review. Eat Flatbreads! My absolute favorite are: Tomatilla + Pepper Flatbread (on a sweet potato flatbread crust) and the Kombucha + Sage Flatbread (made on a cauliflower flatbread crust).
If you’re buying a Daily Harvest box for the first time, you should definitely toss in a few of their flatbreads. They are delicious and bake at 450 for about 20-25 minutes. We love to bake our flatbreads, slice in strips and dip them into homemade ranch dressing.
Daily Harvest Soup
We have loved so many of our Daily harvest cups, but there is one thing I would suggest passing on. As delicious and wholesome as the Daily Harvest Soup tastes, I truly don’t think they are worth the cost per cup. So, even though we loved the Cauliflower + Leek soup paired with bone broth, my suggestion is to skip it and get some of the other heartier options from the Daily Harvest Menu.
Daily Harvest Forager Bowls
Also new, are these Daily Harvest Forager Bowls. There are only 3 options to choose from and honestly, all three are delicious. However, the Raspberry + Mulberry Forager Bowl is my absolute favorite. Make this forager bowl for breakfast, lunch or an evening snack.
How to Prepare Daily Harvest Forager Bowls?
Preparing Daily Harvest Forager Bowls are about the same time and effort as making the Daily Harvest Bowls.
For stovetop, pour into a pot and cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. For microwave, keep in this bowl—it’s microwave-safe. Heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway in between.
Daily Harvest Overnight Oats
I absolutely love the easy process of making these delicious Daily Harvest Overnight Oats. Of course, you can also make them in the microwave or stove-top for about 5-6 minutes.
Daily Harvest Overnight Oats now have a plethora of options, but my absolute favorites are: Blueberry + Lemon with Poppy Seeds, Strawberry + Goji Berry and Cherry + Dark Chocolate. So creamy, deliciously balanced and perfect for breakfast or an afternoon treat.
Daily Harvest Bites Reviews
Hands down, the Daily Harvest bites are our favorite, which you can purchase for less than $6 per container. We literally snatch the cup of bites and take turns devouring them. Each cup comes with 7 bites — which means, we don’t get to evenly share them… and I typically get the last one, because my husband loves me so much. Our favorite Daily Harvest bite flavors are Coconut + Lemon Bites, Hazelnut + Chocolate Bites and the Cacao Nib + Vanilla Bites.
Daily Harvest Latte Review
Oh my goodness. Talk about gourmet, expensive-tasty and oh so fancy. The Daily Harvest lattes are so delicious. My favorite is the Coffee + Cardamom Latte and luckily there are 3 latte pods in every cup.
So, we warmed up the latte pod, added it to 10 ounces of almond milk (we make our own – here’s our recipe) and tossed in our high speed blender. Poured it into a big mug full of ice and enjoy every last sip. Just the smell of this latte is delicious. You definitely need to try it.
Daily Harvest Scoops Review
One of the newest additions are their Daily Harvest Scoops. I’ve tried every single one, and they’re all amazing. However, my very favorite is the Mint + Dark Melty Cacao Chips flavor. This tastes EXACTLY like a sugar & dairy-filled, junky mint chocolate chip ice cream, except it’s all 100% healthy, and nutrient-dense!
If you’re an ice cream lover, this is a must-have to keep stocked in your freezer at all times. You won’t regret it!

I was so disappointed in my first box. It came completely thawed (as in warm) I contacted customer service and they are sending a new box out next week. Fingers crossed it comes frozen. And yes I was home as soon as it arrived

Oh no!!! That is terrible. I have had a small box of Daily Harvest Bites come cold BUT stuck together and they replaced the entire box without question. Hopefully you're next box is a much better experience. Thank goodness for amazing customer service! Keep us posted.
