This is our Daily Harvest Scoops Review and it’s a good one! When Daily Harvest came out with their new line of Scoops, I just knew I had to do a review. They have quickly become one of my favorite end-of-the-day desserts.

I gave up packaged ice cream years ago, because seemingly every brand was filled with emulsifiers, fillers, or empty sugars. So…I settled into the idea that if I was going to have ice cream, it was just simply going to have to be homemade.
And while homemade ice cream is delicious, I so missed the convenience of pulling a pre-made carton from the fridge, and enjoying something I didn’t make myself like everyone else was doing.
Recently, Daily Harvest came out with their very own line of ice cream, “Scoops”, and already loving everything else from Daily Harvest, I just knew I had to try each flavor!
Currently, there are 4 flavors: Vanilla + Salted Swirled Black Sesame, Mint + Dark Melty Cacao Nibs, Strawberry + Rich Rippled Berry Compote, and Chocolate + Ooey Gooey Midnight Fudge. And today, I’m here to provide you with a Daily Harvest Scoops review!

VANILLA + SALTED SWIRLED BLACK SESAME
Ingredients: organic coconut cream, water, organic maple syrup, organic black sesame paste, organic cacao nibs, dried citrus pulp, organic ashwagandha root powder, himalayan sea salt, vanilla bean powder.
I have to be honest, when I first saw this flavor, I was hesitant. Black sesame in my ice cream? No thanks. But, I tried to keep an open mind, and pushed forward. And I’m so glad I did! In my opinion, the black sesame gives the ice cream a creamy caramel flavor, and adds a really nice taste to what would typically be just a plain vanilla.
And beyond flavor, I love the benefits of all of the added superfoods and adaptogens, such as black sesame, cacao nibs, and aswagandha. So not only is this flavor delicious, but it’s also full of benefits! You can’t go wrong!
STRAWBERRY + RICH RIPPLED BERRY COMPOTE
Ingredients: organic coconut cream, organic strawberry puree, organic maple syrup, organic dragon fruit puree, organic raspberries, dried citrus pulp, water, organic lemon juice, vanilla bean powder, himalayan sea salt, probiotic (bacillus coagulans gbi-30 6086, inulin)
I LOVE all things strawberry, so when I first tried this one, I knew I’d like it, but I was expecting a typical strawberry ice cream flavor. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This flavor is so far from typical. It’s creamy, rich, and is so satisfying. If you’re a berry fan, and are looking to switch it up, this is the flavor for you. You’ll love it!!
CHOCOLATE + OOEY GOOEY MIDNIGHT FUDGE
Ingredients: organic coconut cream, water, organic maple syrup, organic cacao powder, organic avocado puree (organic avocado, organic lime juice), dried citrus pulp, himalayan sea salt, pine pollen, vanilla bean powder
I feel like this flavor doesn’t even need a review. The name says it all…Ooey Gooey Midnight Fudge! What?! YES PLEASE! This is much more than just your typical chocolate ice cream. This flavor is so rich, and filled with gooey fudge pieces in almost every bite. Plus, you’re getting tons of healthy fat from the coconut cream and avocado!
If you love chocolate, this is the ice cream for you!
MINT + DARK MELTY CACAO CHIPS
Ingredients: organic coconut cream, water, organic maple syrup, organic 100% unsweetened dark chocolate, dried citrus pulp, organic spirulina, organic peppermint extract, dried peppermint leaf, himalayan sea salt, vanilla bean powder
Mint Chocolate Chip has always been my go-to, and is my personal favorite Scoops flavor!! I literally think the Daily Harvest version is more rich, and flavorful than sugar/dairy-filled brands I’ve had in the past, and the creaminess is unmatched!! This one gets a 10/10 for me, and is one I just keep coming back to. If you love Mint Chocolate Chip anything, this one is for you!
Daily Harvest is one of the few brands that I trust to be totally transparent with all of their ingredients, and to stay true to their mission of using exceptional quality, and intentional ingredients. I love that I can feel good about their Scoops Ice Cream, and know that I’m indulging in something that is truly benefiting my body.
