Now is the perfect time to clean up your summer BBQ menu with a collection of farm-fresh and Healthy 4th of July recipes! The following round up can really be served for any summer BBQ.

And believe it or not, healthy 4th of July recipes can even include mayo, sour cream, ketchup, pie, baked beans and corn muffins! That’s because the mayo and sour cream are homemade, dairy free and have no refined oils. The ketchup is homespun too and made with zero refined sugar. Same goes for the pie, baked beans and whole grain corn muffins.

So, while a table filled with our healthy 4th of July recipes may look just like the one at your next door neighbors house, the ingredients will be very different. In a good way =)

    We can’t get hemp seeds here in Australia, is there a substitute we can use?

      Hi Amy! You could use finely chopped raw cashews as a good substitute for hemp seeds. However, you might want to soak the cashews in water for about a 1/2 hour, then drain, pat dry and THEN chop finely. Hope this helps?
