Recipe for Pineapple Dole Whip

There’s nothing quite as refreshing as an ice cold, frozen Pineapple Dole Whip in the Florida summer heat. Before I dove into clean eating, I use to enjoy the Pineapple Dole Whips in the parks all the time! While they always left me feeling bloated, lethargic, and weighed down, I was yet to make the connection between how I felt, and what I chose to put into my body.

When I gained an interest in nutrition and started reading ingredient labels, I realized what I thought was a snack made with mostly pineapple, was actually made up of artificial flavors, dyes, gums, tons of sugar, and more! However, I was not willing to miss out on my favorite Disney World snack, so…I decided it was time to create my own version! And yes, I still bring my Pineapple Dole Whips into the park. I bring a high quality ice chest to the resort, order all my ingredients from Instacart, and use my blender in the room to quickly whip up a dole whip. Then I load it into a sealed Yeti thermos, and enjoy right on the streets of Magic Kingdom alongside everyone else. Easy peasy!

Ingredients for Pineapple Dole Whip

Frozen Pineapple: Using frozen pineapple in this recipe gives it the creamy texture, a rich pineapple flavor found in conventional Pineapple Dole Whips. No need for artificial flavors here, fresh pineapple does the trick all on its own!

Pineapples are full of antioxidants, bromelain (which helps with digestion), potential anti-inflammatory properties, and much more! Its like eating candy, but with health benefits! Click here to read more about the benefits of pineapples.

Pineapple Juice: The pineapple juice in this recipe helps to keep the pineapple flavor strong, and is a delicious base if you prefer to turn your Pineapple Dole Whip into a Pineapple Dole Whip Float!
