More than Core
The video below features a “More than Core” home circuit training workout incorporating compound movements that engage the core muscles of the hips, back and abdomen into every single exercise. Unlike traditional lying-down core exercises, this workout is done from a standing position, thus targeting the muscles from a different angle. And, because the workout uses compound movements to engage lower body and upper body muscles simultaneously, it burns a lot of calories as a full body workout.
“More than Core” Home Circuit Training
Workout Video: Volume 1
Equipment Needed For This Home Circuit Training Workout is Minimal
Although some home circuit training workouts call for a variety of dumbbells and various other exercise equipment, this workout primarily uses your own body weight as resistance and so the only thing you need is a set of 1 to 3 pound dumbbells (if you are a beginner and don’t have dumbbells you can always use soup cans.)
30-Minute Fitter, Firmer, Faster Home Circuit Training Workout
If you’ve read my books you know I’m a big fan of 30-minute home circuit training workouts (this is because they are both fast and effective—plus I don’t have to get gussied up to go to a gym) The workout in the video above is 15 minutes long, but you can repeat it two times through (no resting!!) for a full 30 minute workout. As another alternative, you can begin your workout by doing 15 minutes of jogging or fast walking.

I am just beginning your Clean Cuisine book and thrilled to see the exercise videos on your site, for FREE no less! Thank you so much. I was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis which is a non-alcohol related, autoimmune, progressive illness. My doctors have told me that nutrition doesn't make a difference with this, or that there at least is no reliable evidence suggesting this, but I can't help but wonder if inflammation does play a huge part as it apparently does with other autoimmune illnesses so I am looking forward to giving your program my best effort and seeing if it may lower my liver panel numbers. Your book so far is very encouraging, inspirational, and helpful. Thank you & Happy New Year to you all!

Hi Alex, I'm so happy to know you like the exercise videos ;) thank you for letting me know! I am so sorry to hear about your liver issues though. I do not know that much about your particular issue, BUT I did come across this article from Dr. Weil: http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA46639 ---if what Dr. Weil is discussing in his article is at all related to your issue, then our anti-inflammatory program should help. I also found it very interesting about the medications he mentioned too. Again, not sure if this is at all related to your particular issue, but just thought I would share. Dr. Weil's site is a great resource to have on hand too for other issues. Please keep me posted on how things go! Wishing you the best of luck.
