Benefits of Clean Eating

Let’s face it: it is not easy to stay healthy and trim in today’s modern world. But just for a moment, close your eyes and imagine what it would be like to wake up in a body that looked and felt 10-years younger.

Think of how great it would be if you were pain-free, light, limber and fit.

Imagine what it would be like if you were able to eat an abundance of delicious food until you were full and satisfied.

Think of how wonderful it would be to banish food cravings and never worry about your weight again.

Picture how much more enjoyable life would be if you had more zip, pep and go.

And think of how much easier it would be to face the day if you knew you looked and felt your personal best.

Unfortunately, dreaming is not going to make any of this possible, so let’s stop imagining and let’s start taking steps to a brand new you!

People have a hard time believing that the routine lifestyle choices they make day in and day out such as what they eat for breakfast, how much they exercise and move their bodies, how they respond to stress, etc. can make an enormous difference in their overall health, well-being and even appearance.

Awareness is the first step to healing your body and cleaning up your lifestyle. The more aware you become of how powerfully your daily choices in diet and lifestyle affect you—for better or for worse—then the easier it becomes to make different choices. We believe knowledge is power.

Nothing Worth Having Ever Comes Easy

We are not going to stretch the truth and tell you that the Challenge will be a cake walk. We have been in your shoes and we know firsthand that changing your lifestyle is not easy. But think about this: changing your lifestyle is not nearly as challenging as living with a chronic disease, battling constant fatigue or never feeling happy with you how your body looks or feels.

 

Changing Your Plate Can Change Your Fate…

Did you know there is also a huge connection between the “brain healthy” anti-inflammatory diet Ivy follows and outward appearance? MS is a disease of the central nervous system, which includes the brain, and the anti-inflammatory diet Ivy follows to keep her MS in remission is also a very “brain-healthy” diet.

What then does this have to do with outward appearances? Turns out the brain and skin are derived from the same embryonic tissue, called ectoderm. And so there is actually a very close relationship between brain health and skin health. We have even learned that some of the key supplements she takes and some of the superfoods she includes as part of her daily diet (such as EPA and DHA, green tea, raw cacao) are not only super healthy for the brain but have actually been proven to protect against skin cancer and slow skin aging too.
