Green peas have always been a veggie favorite of mine. With a mildly sweet flavor, and just the perfectly subtle crunch, peas are simply just so satisfying! And while there are plenty of veggie side dishes with long lists of ingredients and complicated instructions (that are totally worth it sometimes), I totally get how a busy schedule can get in the way of time spent in the kitchen. Because of this, I made this Recipe for Green Peas, simple, quick, and easy! Want a peek at the ingredients? Here’s a rundown!

Main Ingredients in this Recipe for Green Peas:

Besides the oil used to sauté, and salt used to flavor, this recipe uses only 3 main ingredients!

Naturally, Delicious Green Peas

Green peas are an excellent source of immune system supporting antioxidants. They’re full of phytonutrients and vitamins, and are a deliciously sweet veggie I just can’t get enough of! Plus, there are so many more health benefits to eating peas.

Rosemary is the Perfect Compliment

Rosemary really is unique in flavor. Offering a fresh, woody, almost citrusy flavor, rosemary is the perfect compliment to garlic!

Garlic is Loaded with Health Benefits!

In my book, adding garlic to a savory recipe like this one is almost always a go! Plus, garlic has numerous health benefits! Garlic has been studied for it’s ability to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, boost the immune system, and even has antimicrobial components!
