Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette with Nutritional Yeast

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unfortified nutritional yeast (such as Sari Foods brand)
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon raw or manuka honey
  • Pinch of unrefined sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and whiz together until smooth and creamy.

Notes

This vinaigrette will keep nicely for about 4 to 5 days if stored in the refrigerator in a mason jar.
