Pumpkin Smoothie

  • •1/4 cup canned pumpkin purée
  • •1/4 cup raw pecans
  • •1 cup ice cold water
  • 2 teaspoons flaxseeds
  • 1 frozen banana (cut into thick slices)
  • 2 or 3 organic pitted medjool dates, like these ones from Terrasoul
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients except the ice cubes in a high speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. Add the ice cubes and process again until smooth and creamy. Drink at once.
