Healthy Caramel Sauce

  1. Combine both ingredients in a saucepan, and turn on a medium heat. Bring to boil, and then immediately reduce to low heat/a simmer.
  2. Allow to simmer for approximately 35-45 minutes, or until caramel has reduced by around half, and darkened in color. *Be sure to stir every 5 minutes throughout the process*
  3. Remove from heat, and allow to cool. Enjoy warm, or place in the fridge for a few hours until thick, and cool. 


Store in an airtight container in the fridge, and enjoy for 3-4 days.
