- 16 ounces of frozen extra fine/string green beans
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- sea salt, to taste
- OPTIONAL: slivered raw almonds
Instructions
- To a 2 quart micro-cooker, place the frozen green beans along with 1-2 tablespoons of water. Microwave for about 5 minutes. Remove and shake gently. Microwave for an additional 3 minutes.
- In a large 10″ or 12″ skillet (we prefer Xtrema Cookware or Cast Iron) on medium heat, add olive oil and green beans. Saute for about 3-4 minutes.
- Next, add the minced garlic and coconut aminos. Saute for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Add sea salt, to taste. Serve warm.
- OPTIONAL: Add a little crunch with slivered raw almonds.
