Edamame Hummus

  • 3/4 cup organic edamame beans (shelled)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • Unrefined sea salt (to taste)
  • 2 small Haas avocados
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Dash of Tabasco (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded onion


  1. Place edamame, garlic, lime juice and salt in a mini food processor; process for 1 full minute, or until ingredients are well-blended. Add the avocado and cumin and process until smooth and creamy. Transfer to a small serving bowl and stir in Tabasco and shredded onion. Serve at once.
