Changing our plate changed our lives and we think it can change yours too. We began eating and living a clean lifestyle to combat Ivy’s MS (because of this she is over 15 years symptom-free, by the way) but Clean Cuisine has become our solution to eating and living in a way that has enabled us to feel and look our very best while maximally enjoying our food…and our lives.
We feel firmly that a lifestyle program cannot be overly strict or intrusive in one’s life. People just won’t do it, and therefore it will not produce results. What we have done with Clean Cuisine is take the available research on nutrition and put together a way of eating and living that is enjoyable and effective for living the healthiest and most enjoyable life you can. We incorporate fitness and nutrition supplements into our Clean Cuisine lifestyle because both play an important role in overall wellness.
Our entire family, including our son, Blake, lives the Clean Cuisine lifestyle and we believe our health and lives are better for it.
Our primary goal is life-enhancement; we want to enjoy our lives to the fullest in every way possible—which includes feeling healthy and being satisfied with the delicious food we eat—and we want to show you how we do it.
Rest assured the Clean Cuisine lifestyle and the nutritional recommendations we make in our books and on this website are only strict when and where it counts most, and we are more lenient where it doesn’t matter so much. Deprivation just isn’t our style. To say we like to have our cake and eat it too would be an understatement (which is why Ivy has put so much effort into learning how to prepare amazingly delicious and surprisingly nutritious dessert recipes). We like to eat well, feel well, and…yes…drink well, too! So, raise your glasses of green smoothies, tea, or wine with us!
